Yes—only registered accounts can book on BroRents. Sign up is quick and free. You’ll verify your ID and add a payment method so Bro can protect creators, gear, and deposits. An account also lets you track bookings, receipts, and support.

Most bookings require a card pre-auth/deposit in FJD at checkout. For higher-value kits, we may ask for production insurance naming the Owner/Vendor and Bro as loss payee. If offered, LDW (Loss/Damage Waiver) can reduce—but not remove—your liability. ID and the payment card used must be shown at pickup.

72+ hrs before pickup: refund of rental fees minus 5% processing. 24–72 hrs: 50% refund of rental fees. <24 hrs / no-show: no refund. Custom add-ons (delivery, hired operators, special orders) are non-refundable once arranged. The policy shown at checkout always applies.

Return on time with all accessories. Late returns incur the daily rate plus up to 1.5× as a late fee and any knock-on costs to the next booking. For damage/loss/theft, you’re responsible for repairs or replacement value (and related costs). Report incidents immediately; theft requires a police report. We’ll help with next steps and estimates.
